The Inspector General (IG) of Police Dr George Kainja today visited Chikwawa and Nsanje Police Stations with a call to the law enforcers to remain disciplined and professional.
The IG said only disciplined police officers instill confidence in the community as they easily deal with criminal activities in their areas of jurisdiction.

He was among seven Commissioners in the country who were probable candidates for the post of Police IG. Dr Kainja has replaced Mr Duncan Mwapasa who was holding the office of IG in an acting capacity
