The Malawi police service wishes to disown and distance itself from a recruitment advert which is appearing in different social media platforms. The fake advert is an art of some unpatriotic members of the general public with criminal motives.
We wish to advise the citizenry that police recruitment announcement is done formally through both the print and electronic media. Hence the public should disregard the current advert and guard against these people who are propagating this unlawful act to dupe would be applicants.
Once there's a vacancy, the Malawi Police Service shall make a publication through the media platforms and DC offices.
MPS strongly condemns this development of furnishing the citizenry with false information which are proving to be hooks of theft.
The police is currently investigating this matter to arrest and bring to book the authors of the fake advert.
