IG challenges officers on Peacekeeping Mission for professionalism, cooperation

The Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Kainja, PPM, has challenged officers on Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan to exercise discipline and professionalism throughout their operations.

Dr. Kainja made the remarks Tuesday, May 24 2022, hours before the men and women in uniform depart the country for South Sudan.

He further asked the officers to display ethical standards even during off duties, adding that they should remain prayerful and be God fearing.

The Inspector General also reminded the team to cooperate with their fellow officers regardless of their respective diversities.

This is the second team going to South Sudan this year alone and it comprises five female and six male officers against the first team which departed last month (April) with three female and six male officers.
